BEFC Lions vs Albion Old Boys FC: the revenge of the Lions
*This is a repost since time and team have been changed for this game; pitch remains the same!
Second game of the season against Albion Old Boys
Both times we played Albion we got an unfortunate whooping, both times we started strong but distractions when defending cost us dearly as they converted their only chances, whilst we wasted quite a few (in both games).
This is a team we know well, we've played against repeatedly, and can definitely beat if we get our best mindset out and focus! Let's go get some points Lions
We are all somewhat familiar with St. Mary's (so we can meet at the pitch, if you are not sure or new, we can meet at the station at 12.20) and the difficulties it presents as a pitch as well. By this date the sun should be down and the weather slightly more tolerable, but it's good to keep in mind that this pitch is quite short (lots of sprints) and there is no protection from the sun (we've experience a lot of sunburns, heat exhaustion and overall sun-heat ailments), so bring water, a cap and be ready to sub as necessary.
The pitch is closest to Futako Tamagawa station, and there are some nice places to walk around and have lunch afterwards.
AS ALWAYS, PUT DOWN NK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE KIT + ADD A # IF YOU ARE UP FOR DRINKS/LUNCH AFTER THE GAME.
