Sprinting back the full length of the pitch from a corner counter attack, Ben Palmer gets in front his opponent, throwing himself onto the end of a flick-on and blasting a thunderous flying volley into the net - the keeper left with no chance.

The video superbly captures the thumping thud of the shot, the cries of despair as the goal scorer ends up lying on his back in that horrible bubble of acknowledgment to what just transpired, self esteem draining into the astroturf along with the previous fleeting burst of heroic intention.
