BEFC Embassy England Team are crowned champions of the MIFA Futsal Embassy Cup defeating Brazil in the final 2-1.
The MIFA Embassy Futsal Cup was played at the MIFA Futsal Park in Toyosu among 10 teams represented by England, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Israel, Germany, Scandanavia, The EU, USA and a special British Embassy team.

BEFC effectively had three teams in the competition as England, British Embassy, and Spain all made up of BEFC members. England's opening match versus Spain was hostly contested and ended in a stalemate with a crucial save from Theo using his face, before England went on to beat the remaining teams (EU, Israel, USA) with goals from Ben, Silvano and Ken. Spain fared well against the remaining teams in the group but a loss to Israel put them out of the running for the final stages.
BEFC Embassy in BEFC cliche fashion were slow to get firing in a tricky group with Germany, Scandanavia, Brazil and Italy, finally putting Italy to the sword in their last match with a Mulholland special. But it was too late. They did however go on to thrash USA 6-3 in the 9th place playoff with quality goals all round and some fine keeping from Nick.

BEFC England faced off against Brazil in the final, and played a tactical choke out, with a nice early goal from Ken, only to be shocked to 1 - 1 after some defensive lapsing. This caused England to rally and push back with Chin smashing in the winner after fine work from Ken on the counter. England then ruthlessly choked Brazil out with trademark BEFC defending for the win.

All in all - a great competition full of BEFC members! And some more silverware for the club this season.
Who would've thought England would win something in football!
