Announced on the FootyJapan website at the weekend BEFC's next opponent in the FootyJapan Plate are Division 3 club Oakwood Clash.

The Clash are sitting bottom last of division 3, and recently lost to Pumas 4 - 1. They have the second worst goals conceeded and scored after Nepal FC and Real Celts, respectively. They an expat team (perhaps fair to say Masters) and a sister team of Oakwood Geckoes, who play in the first division.

The Clash's last Plate match was against Division 3 side, Albion Oldboys (3 -1), who they had lost the week before in the league to 2 - 0. The Clash have only won once in the league this season against Jetro FC, 2 - 1.

There might be some familiar faces in the Clash from the Tokyo ex-pat community, especially the happy looking guy in the second team photo, bottom right - on their Footy Japan page.

The next round of the Footy Japan Plate is schedule for the start of March.
