The match against relegation survivors Sala was always going to be interesting. Historically they have always been entertaining hard fought games. Despite the eventual scoreline, BEFC dominated play and possession limiting Sala to about three chances from open play. Stifling Sala's punts forward, shutting down their advances and passing through the middle of the park, Cael Husband frustrated and kept Sala squashed in their half providing a shield of steel for the midfield to rampage around the middle of the park. Taking charge of the back-line, constantly communicating with his team-mates, even hitting the crossbar in the final minutes Cael Husband is BEFC man of the match.

BEFC's performance against Sala was really very good. The defence was tight, midfield were battling, winning control of the park and crafting balls forward into the final third. We had a number of chances (much more than Sala), and a big improvement over before with people were arriving in the box and getting into shooting positions. 
The final score was an unlucky result for us, but at least we don't have to go to Redsland anymore. We have the team now, and its coming together for us to focus on getting those goals. Like the defence and midfield which we've clicked, once we're almost there for attack. Once that clicks and we're more ruthless with chances, we'll be posting big wins.
