The victory over the Lions wasn't pretty; except for the inspired run by Kaz starting at right back, exchanging passes and finishing up with a pass to Torsten in the Lion's goal mouth. This set up a long, intense, ground out win. BEFC's overall performance on the ball was lax and somewhat careless; and ultimately it came down holding the lead and shutting out Lions on defence. However one player who remained composed and solid the entire game, dealing with a very fast and tricky left winger, plus providing the drive to score the only goal of the match was Kaz. Therefore Kaz is the BEFC Man of the Match.

Honorable mention goes to Inaki who did a great job in goal and terrifying people with his flying punch outs!

I think many of us felt we didn't play well, but winning on an off day and in this manner is a good trait to have. This was a vital, vital win for our season.
