Well stap me vitals! First consecutive MOM awards goes to James Pounder. The MOM award was tricky for a match in which it was felt no one really stood out by their own standards for an exceptional performance. However Pounder was putting in a massive shift trying to hold down the midfield, launch the offence and cover back to clear up in defence. This was duly noticed and needed, and this kind of work rate is a standard to put our own efforts against if we're going to come out swinging for these last games of the season.

A special mention has to go out to Silvano Boroni who decided to make up for not being able to play the entire season until now by scoring our first goal and then getting a straight red just before the whistle. Might as well pack it all into your first game back.... and possibly last, with a 2 match ban.
