Adecco MVP BEFC vs Panthers - Kenta Nagasawa

BEFC faced Panthers looking for another victory against them following 5-3 win in the early stage of the season.

From the beginning of the game, BEFC dominated the game with beautiful passing. However, BEFC couldn’t finish a couple of crucial chances. To make matters worse, Yuki and Alo got injured in the first half – Keita Suzuki (BEFC new signing) and Robbie came in and BEFC needed to play with no subs for 60 minutes.

In the second half, BEFC defense Hama, Keita, Yuta and Olaf moved the ball quickly, and Kotaro and Katsu delivered the ball widely to create chances as same as every other game. BEFC front 4 Kenta, Ririo, Tsukasa and Robbie kept creating chances but couldn’t find the net.

After 15 minutes in the second half, Panthers got their first real chance but Yu saved it perfectly with his right hand. However, Panthers broke the deadlock with high header from corner kick just after the save – 0-1.

BEFC sought the chances to score and Ririo got one beautifully by his left foot with a narrow angle – 1-1. However, Panthers got their second goal just after that. BEFC was definitely better side of the day but Panthers defenders kept fouling BEFC players (4 yellow cards) to ruin the BEFC attacking rhythm. BEFC ended up scoring only one goal by Ririo and none from several set pieces – 1-2 loss in the end.

It’s a very disappointing result for BEFC, but BEFC attacking has been improving a lot in this season - just need to be patient until their time comes.
