BEFC took part in the MIFA 4th Aniversary tournament with two teams. BEFC White played in group A and from the first match it was obvious they were serious contenders for the win. Emphatic wins in the first 4 matches with goals coming from all players gave BEFC confidence to tackle the more difficult matches against All-men-teams. Despite being a mixed tournament, some teams never fielded any ladies which might have been legal, but not in the spirit of the tournament. BEFC battled hard but a couple of unfortunate mistakes cost the team the top spot in group A which meant playing for 5th place against BEFC red.

There were many nominations for MVP but debutant Angel Saez was finally chosen for his wonderful passing, quality distribution and goals scored. We are looking forward to seeing Angel playing for BEFC next season!
