Congratulations to vice captain and treasurer Jorge Marenco for winning the BEFC Futsal Player of the Year. As tenacious on the futsal court as he is on the 11s pitch Jorge is known for fielding his terrifying Spanish Armada futsal team in the BEFC friendly cup and previous MIFA competitions, as well as bringing home the TML Summer 7s Plate in back to back competitions.

Close behind was manager Keith Crowley for being the unpassable goal keeper at regular Wednesday futsal sessions. The 'Hand of Keith' could have outpowered Maradona's 'Hand of God' in keeping balls out of the goal.

Finally captain Ben Palmer probably for the tireless job tackling and sometimes singularly having to prevent attacks when his team decide not to come back and defend. And of course for getting BEFC into the IAJ finals by a sublime display of scissors-paper-stone skills.
