Adecco MVP BEFC Ladies Shibuya-ku Ladies Futsal Cup - Tomoe Suzuki

BEFC Ladies showed a big improvement as a team and played exceptionally well against the teams from the local futsal leagues at the Shibuya-ku Ladies Futsal Tournament.

Initially there was some positioning issues and BEFC Ladies had a tough start against teenagers with full of energy/stamina at the beginning. After struggling in the first two games, BEFC Ladies switched gears and took the control over their last two games resulting in two wins at 1-0 and 6-2.
Great teamwork and outstanding individual performances such as Yumi Kajino’s strong defence, Tokiko Kinoshita's positioning and movement advice and Kate Gilmartin’s determination to go on through a leg injury, enabled the BEFC Ladies to finish with a spot in the top 3.

However, MVP has to go for Tomoe Suzuki for her never-give-up spirit and big contribution to the win. Tomoe played professional as a forward and scored three goals in the final game. Her ability to quickly turn after receiving passes from midfielders to take chances and keeping her cool in one on one situations, stood out in the games.

For her extra effort in every training session and games, as well as her competitive spirit which resulted in a hat trick, the Adecco MVP for Shibuya-ku Ladies Tournament is awarded to Tomoe Suzuki.
