Adecco MVP BEFC Ladies MIFA FP 4th Anniversary Tournament - Namiho Takeda

Despite the morning rain, BEFC Ladies brought out the sun and made a great showing at the MIFA Football Park 4th Anniversary Ladies Tournament, beating the competition to win the championship.

BEFC Ladies started with both strong offense and defense, earning some early wins. A few of the young and aggressive teams gave the BEFC ladies a few difficult runs but the ladies were able to continue playing with tight teamwork.

Tomoe Suzuki and Kate Gilmartin led aggressive offensive strikes, while Ayuko Suehiro made some excellent goals, which kept motivation high. Securing the back, Sharon Sakuda, Patricia Alarcón and Yumi Kajino kept a strong defense. Together, the team played aggressively, conceding only one goal during the tournament.

Even with such strong players, one team member stood out in the tournament: Namiho Takeda. Her excellent positioning and fluid cooperation with Tokiko Kinoshita brought many shots on target and securing an impressive 6 goals, which boosted team confidence. When the final playoff game ended in a tie, Namiho stepped up as keeper for the final shootout, saving two shots and scoring her 7th which gave the BEFC Ladies team the win and tournament trophy.
Throughout the tournament, Namiho Takeda displayed leadership, gave kind encouragement, and showed good sportsmanship, earning her the Adecco MVP award for the MIFA FP 4th Anniversary Ladies Tournament.
