Pulling together a last minute and unfamiliar team after a series of drop outs and *betrayal*, BEFC battled valiantly under difficult circumstances in the MIFA Embassy Cup. Despite some good control and chances BEFC lacked the luck and decisive edge to make the margins of victory. However this isn't unusual for a side with players who largely don't play with each other. In these situations organisation and teamwork becomes even more vital!
It's tough being captain (as said by anyone who's a captain), and it was even more tough for Mark Kuroda to makes things work under adversity and plenty of drama. Taking it for the team, he produced some vital goalkeeping saves vs Israel, Japan, Norway and the USA he also got on the score sheet and made two assists. For his performance in goal, outfield and as captain Mark Kuroda was unanimously voted the Adecco BEFC MVP for the MIFA Embassy Futsal Cup.
