After a comprehensive win over King George, BEFC have rocketed to the heady heights of first place in Division 2 of the TML.
We found ourselves in first place at the start of the season for a space of about 2 hours, and joked that we should have captured the moment!
So this time after 6 games of quality BEFC heroism we can honestly say that for now BEFC are number 1 - Let's capture the moment!

I'd like to say well done to everyone in the squad who has turned out to the matches so far, the effort players have put in, the teamwork and a massive change in belief from what I have experienced in my previous seasons. The fantastic clean sheet start until Syu Syu was great, so much we get angry just to concede a single goal -- and lets not forget we are still undefeated.

This happens with the way we are gelling as a team, and communicating together on and off the pitch. Many players are upping their game and collectively we all get better as players, a team and club. We know we have a strong defence, and we know we have an intensity that when we play hard we are a nightmare for other teams. Yesterday's game against King George wasn't our greatest display but it was a solid showing trying to crack through a team stuck defending in their own penalty area. Especially in the second half, some of our possession and passing around their half was smart and intelligent - a great sign for us getting better at that area we have been trying to get good at for ages.

Well done lads - lets keep driving the new era of BEFC onward.
